Privacy Policy — Nilotiate

1. What we collect

Email address, name, simulation session content, scores, usage analytics, and payment information. Payment details are processed by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.

2. How we use data

To provide and operate the Service, improve the AI experience, send transactional emails (e.g. receipts, password resets), and analyze product usage.

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the platform: Anthropic (AI processing), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and authentication), and PostHog (analytics). All providers are GDPR-compliant.

4. Data retention

Session data is retained for 12 months. You can request deletion at any time from Account Settings or by emailing privacy@nilotiate.com.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and optional analytics cookies to improve the product. You can opt out of analytics cookies in the cookie banner or from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

6. GDPR rights (EU users)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your personal data. Submit requests to privacy@nilotiate.com.

7. CCPA rights (California users)

You have the right to know what personal data we collect and request its deletion. We do not sell personal information.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will delete the account.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your information.
